It's been a pretty busy week for me. I've been going from this place to that and have been at home one night this week. And I'm gonna be at a flea market tomorrow... (did you know it used to be called a fleece market but then was shortened to flea/flee market?)

The Finals of the Eurovision contest were yesterday. And with a record of 292 points, FINLAND WON! Go Lordi! *waves flags*

I was at the Stafettkarneval yesterday, it went pretty well, but it could've been better. One thing that could've  done some good would've been nice weather. It was drizzling constantly, my hair was (is) a mess. I was tired though, even though I don't ache today. I was up at 4 AM yesterday morning and went to bed at about 8:30 PM. Today I woke up around ... 7:30 AM? Maybe closer to 7:15, but whatever.

Subject:	Ganglion Cyst and Shopping

If you didn't know, I had a bump-thing on my wrist. Well, thankfully it's nothing serious (though it was possible that it could've been something more serious) and is in fact very common. These bumps are actually called "ganglion cysts", and are caused by a sort of leakage of joiny fluid. If you didn't know, the fluid is in a sort of bubble/pocket, and sometimes one part of this pocket gets separated, the passage between the two either cut off entirely or very thin. Because of this, the now-separated fluid thickens and becomes a clear gel. If the two pockets are still connected, the cyst can become larger. The biggest cause of removal is when the cyst is big enough to put pressure on other parts of the hand, causing pain and hindering movement.

I have a lot of terms that basically only I use, or at least to my (limited) knowledge. I use other words only in specific ways, even though I could use them in others. So I'm making a dictionary, to keep track. ^_^ For now everything is here, but eventually I'll split it up to groups (A-L, M-Q, R-Z, something like that). Note that I also have a lot of terms that nearly everyone uses. :) Or a lot of people, at least. Another note: This is so that when I say something weird in my journals or whatever, someone can check the dictionary out.   IS CURRENTLY A WIP!!

Ah, the dreaded first post. I've been looking around, it seems pretty nice. And all the communities! ^_^ *drool*

So, it was Mom's birthday today, so I made her a cake. She said that once your youngest kid is making you cake for your birthday, you know you're getting old. Eh, I don't think she's that old. (But don't tell her that, shh!) It was really rich and  fudge-like, even through it wasn't anything close to fudge in there. Nummy, nummy cake. I'd eaten a lot of batter (bad Aredin, bad bad!) and some baked cake before I'd served it. I bet I ate an entire share.... Heh. So I only managed to finish half of my -finished- cake piece. It's in the fridge right now...
